1. What is Ten Thousand Coffees?
Ten Thousand Coffees is a software tool used by organizations to build connections between community members by introducing them to one another for coffee chats. Meeting someone for coffee is a great way to learn new things, share ideas, and develop diverse connections across your organization.
2. What does “Introductions” mean? How does Ten Thousand Coffees Introduce people?
Ten Thousand Coffees introduces you to another member of your organization based on the interests, offerings, and roles you've selected in your Introductions settings. You will be notified of your Introduction via email, where you will be connected with another member to chat.
Once you've been Introduced to another member, find a time to meet-up in-person or online!
3. How can I change my Introductions settings?
You can change your Introductions settings by visiting your profile on Ten Thousand Coffees, selecting the Hub through which you are receiving Introductions, and clicking “Edit Member Settings”. You will then be able to change your interests and offerings in that Hub, and turn Introductions off and on.
4. Can I pause or skip Introductions?
To pause Introductions visit your profile on Ten Thousand Coffees, click on the relevant Hub and click “Edit Member Settings”. You will then be able to turn Introductions off. Introductions will not be turned on again automatically - you have to turn it back on yourself.
